My mother, Wu Xue-Zhen, passed away forty years ago. She was deeply enamored with Western culture and was perhaps Audrey Hepburn’s most devoted admirer—channeling Hepburn’s timeless elegance and charm through her style, gestures, and spoken words. She boldly embraced low-cut and backless designs—unfazed by the glances or whispers of that era—steadfast in being her authentic self.

In my childhood memories, she always loved to kiss my cheek and whisper, "Mommy loves you." To me, a kiss became the very embodiment of her love. That enduring warmth is the genesis of my "Kiss" series—a lifelong dedication to my beloved mother.

母親離開這個世界已經四十年了。

她的名字是「吳雪真」，熱愛西方文化，也是奧黛麗・赫本（Audrey Hepburn）的頭號粉絲。無論是裝扮、舉手投足還是言談舉止，都如赫本般優雅迷人。她喜歡穿著露背與低胸裝，即便在保守的年代遭受旁人側目與指點，她也毫不在意，始終堅持做真實的自己。

在我小時候的記憶中，她總愛親吻我的臉頰，對我說：「媽媽愛你。」對我而言，「親吻」就是母親愛我的方式。

這是我創作《Kiss》系列作品的初衷——這份愛，我想獻給我親愛的媽媽。
